Reflections in Rhythm is published by Greg Bridges. The self-described “radio jock, journalist, booking cat, artist promoter and soul brother,” Bridges was born and raised in East Oakland, California. A seasoned jazz writer, emcee and presenter, Bridges’ radio career spans an impressive 20 years. He currently hosts The Jazz Oasis, creating much needed “calm and relaxation” for his loyal listeners as well as the Avant Garde All Out music program — both airing on KCSM’s Jazz 91. Aside from his KCSM airshifts, Bridges hosts Transitions On Traditions, a rhapsody of word, sound and power, treating listeners to an eclectic mix of jazz, blues, spoken word, soul and then some.
